WE MADE THE FOLLOWING CHANGES BASED ON PLAYER FEEDBACK:
We are eliminating substitutes. Once a team is complete, that is who you play with. No exceptions! This will prevent the wrong player from playing at the wrong level, our most common feedback from last year.
We will play at only 3 locations: Atkinson Park, Sun Valley & the Valley Club! Some players has issues driving to Gravity and getting there on time or playing on Saturdays at Elkhorn, so we have simplified where we play.
We are limiting the total # of players. We expect the league to quickly sell out given our membership is now over 400 players. Since we will not have a "bullpen" or "substitute" list, sign up now so you don't miss out! All players without a DUPR rating (or equivalent) will be scheduled for a short "rating session" with league commissioners.
Just like last year, sign-up is easy! go to woodriverpickleball.org (all players will need to be 2024 renewed Members), log in if necessary, go to the Calendar tab and select "BIG WOOD Registration". Fill out the required information and you're all set!
